Jan. 21st :: Screening of Cafeteria Man

FuelFilm:Memphis launches the 2012 Season with a public screening of the locally-relevant documentary film Cafeteria Man at Malco’s Studio on the Square Theater on Saturday, January 21 at 4:00 pm.  Directed, Co-Produced and filmed by Richard Chisolm, “Cafeteria Man” chronicles the herculean (and controversial) efforts of Chef Anthony “Tony” Geraci in his quest to bring healthy lunches to inner-city children within the Baltimore City Schools.  A panel discussion following the film provides the forum for knowledgeable, relevant questions and answers for the program being implemented in Memphis.  Geraci and Chisolm will be in attendance.  Local high school youth from BRIDGES will also join the panel to share their opinions and highlight how youth can participate in the effort to transform school food.

Saturday January 21 at 4:00 pm, Studio on the Square 2105 Court Avenue (Overton Park area), Memphis, TN (901) 725-7151

A limited number of discounted tickets at $5 are available at the door and on eventbrite.
